Gudlu Resorts is situated near Mudigere Chikmagalur, just 45 to 60 minutes drive from Chikmagalur & 16 Km from Mudigere Town. It is very close to the famous Devaramane.
Devaramane Viw Point is eminent for its Kalabhairaveshwara sanctuary. Arranged on a slope, this little decent sanctuary resembles a seriously old sanctuary and is very much kept up with. The term 'Devaramane' generally means the 'Residence of God' and the quiet serenity that wins here suitably fulfills that classification. There is a lake before the sanctuary and a slope posterior. The course prompting the sanctuary gives us the hypnotizing perspective on the slopes around and the street is in great condition. Around 200 m from the sanctuary, there is a perspective called Devaramane perspective that offers a few all encompassing perspectives on the lavish green environmental factors, sputtering streams, and sparkling lakes.
Ettina Bhuja (literally translates to Ox’s Shoulder, in Kannada), is located close to the temple town of Dharmasthala. Byrapura village in Mudigere range of Chickmagalur district to be exact. About 250km from Bangalore, it makes for a good weekend trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it’s not a popular trail among trekkers, Ettina Bhuja offers scenic landscapes at about 1300m altitude and features a mosaic of grassland and forest patches in undulating terrain. One can find bamboo and cane plantations on the way to the top. Trek along this pleasant terrain to the sound of chirping birds in the lap of nature. Once you reach the top which looks like the hump of an ox, feast yourself to panoramic views of dense green forests.
